Services offered for Saab owners. I am sharing my creative abilities in exchange for your spare cash. If you want something done and it is one of the services I offer then please don't hesitate to get in touch. The services I'm offering are mainly for the Saab 900's or 99's. I am not a motor trader so only providing these services for the benefit of Saab owners who need a knowledgable and sympathatic hand with work on their Saab. If you don't see the service you require then just ask and I'll let you know if I can help or not. Rates are low / reasonable.

  1. APC boost controller modification.
    The APC boost controller in the Saab 900 can be modified to run higher boost. The information to modify the APC controller is publically available but some people don't have the necessary soldering skills or equipment needed to perform the modification. If you send me your APC I will modify the circuits and send it back to you. The price for this service is 30.00GBP excluding shipping.

  2. ECU Mapping.
    I have the equipment needed to modify Tronic ECU's from the 9000 and Bosch LH 2.2 fuel controllers from early 900's and 9000's. Send me your ECU and I will make simple changes to the ECU offline using my skills and equipment. For simple changes to add more fuel or increase boost there is a flat-fee of 60.00GBP per ECU. For more advanced work I will visit you at your local rolling-road and help with the ECU programming. Charges for on-site visits will have to be worked out on a case-by-case basis depending on travelling time and ammount of work required.

  3. Brackets & Metal Work.
    If you need to mount a new compnent in the engine bay or fit some different seats or you need a custom exhaust hanger or any other small fabrication jobs then I can provide the basic fabrication services needed to put these things together. If you can email me accurate drawings and measurements showing your requirements then I can do all the cutting, drilling, welding, painting and supply of materials needed to make these things happen. The basic price is 30.00GBP an hour and the minimum charge is 30.00 I will provide a fixed price at a lower rate for bigger jobs.

  4. Structural and Cosmetic Rust Repair.
    If you have some rust that needs cutting out and new metal welding in then I can provide this service at a rate of 40.00GBP per-hour. I can provide fixed costs but each job will need to be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Materials will be added to the price and you will need to bring the car to me or pay my travelling costs to come and see you.

  5. Fault Diagnosis & Repair.
    If your engine isn't running right or if you're not getting full boost or if you suspect other minor faults and you need somebody to take a look then I can help. If you bring the car to me I can diagnose or test and fix most faults with 900's or 99's including mechanical and electrical issues. This service costs 30.00GBP per-hour or if you contact me with a description of the issue then fixed cost estimates can be provided.

  6. Central Locking Control Units.
    If your central locking isn't working properly and you suspect the common fault of broken central locking control unit then you can send me your broken controller and I can repair it for you. In most cases where central locking has gone faulty the solder joints inside the central locking controller have dried out. I will open up the controller and re-solder all the joints so it will function properly again. The charge for this is a flat You will need to send me your original unit and pay for the return postage.

  7. Basic Servicing.
    If you bring your car to me I can do basic servicing like changing oil or brake pads or disks or fixing broken bushings or ball-joints. Changing spark-plugs, bleeding brakes, changing coolant, replacing clutches and slave or master cylinders or any minor repairs. Replacing springs and shocks or fitting exhausts. All jobs will need to be quoted for on an individual basis.

  8. Changing Gearboxes.
    If you need your gearbox changed then I will do this work but it is a long and expensive job. Just tell me what your local garage quoted you and I will undercut them significantly. You will need to leave your car with me for a few days while the work is carried out. You may have to wait until I have time to do this so if you are in a hurry then you will have to visit your local garage instead.

  9. Performance Upgrades.
    If you want someone to fit your bolt-on performance upgrades such as brake upgrades, exhaust upgrades, swapping turbochargers, fitting front-mounted intercoolers or fitting polly-bushes then this is work I'll carry out. Jobs are priced individually on a case-by-case basis.

  10. Minor Body & Cosmetic Work.
    If you need a pannel painting or some trim fixing then I can provide the necessary services
